Frontier Ledger is an independent publication covering the intersection of artificial intelligence and finance. We write for two audiences: practitioners applying machine learning to markets — quantitative researchers, traders, and engineers — and investors trying to understand the AI investment landscape.

What we publish

Our practitioner coverage focuses on applied techniques: time-series forecasting, backtesting methodology, alternative data, reinforcement learning for trading, and the infrastructure that supports quantitative research. Our Investing in AI series tracks the major private and public AI companies — ownership structures, funding history, and the realistic routes investors have to gain exposure.

How our content is produced

Articles are researched and drafted with the assistance of AI tools and reviewed by a human editor before publication. We aim for depth over volume: fewer articles, each answering the specific questions readers actually search for. When we get something wrong or an article goes stale, we revise it and update the modification date.
